Summary:
Under minimal direction, this highly visible and influential leadership position performs and presents financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and planning responsibilities detailed below. Leads various other analysis from different perspectives – break-even, life-cycle, contribution margin, etc., for new product pricing, in-sourcing or outsourcing analysis, market or brand competitive research, working capital or other key metrics, acquisitions, and strategic planning. Additionally works on manufacturing accounting and analysis. This position predominately supports the local manufacturing site, but also prepares or consolidates LLC-wide analysis or reporting. This position must maintain a high degree of professional judgment while demonstrating a strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and FP&A techniques, as well as financial reporting requirements within a public company environment.

In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum requirements:
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Background in biotech or pharmaceutical preferred, but not required.
• Experience in Investor Relations a plus.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably J.D. Edwards.
• Experience with standard cost accounting and variance analysis.
• Experience in inventory reconciliation, inventory analysis, and inventory management.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Superior knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Proven ability to speak persuasively and with confidence to an executive leadership team.
• Strong computer (Excel and Access) and system skills, ability to write queries and reports
